Jan Fuhrmann delivers tailored non-financial risk management and advisory services to banks and financial institutions, with a focus on both first and second line of defence functions. His areas of expertise include banking and critical infrastructure regulation, ICT risk management, third-party risk management, and business continuity management.
He brings a wealth of experience in security strategy, developed during his Master’s degree in Political Science at Goethe University Frankfurt. Following this, he served for several years as an advisor on foreign and security policy at the German Bundestag.
Jan holds a range of professional certifications, including ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (PECB), Information Security Officer for Credit Institutions (Bank-Verlag), Business Continuity Manager (BCM Academy Hamburg), and Outsourcing Manager (Bank-Verlag). Additionally, he has completed the General Management Programme and earned certification as a Non-Financial Risk Manager from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
