Jan Fuhrmann provides targeted non-financial risk management and advisory services to banks and financial institutions, focusing on both first and second line of defense functions. His specialties include banking and critical infrastructure regulations, ICT-Risk management, third-party risk management, and business continuity management.
Jan brings extensive expertise in security strategy, honed during his Master’s in Political Science at Goethe University Frankfurt. He then spent several years advising on foreign and security policy at the German Bundestag.
Jan is certified as an ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (PECB), Information Security Officer for Credit Institutions (Bank-Verlag), Business Continuity Manager (BCM Academy Hamburg), and Outsourcing Manager (Bank-Verlag). He has also completed the General Management Programme at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
