Jan Fuhrmann was already researching security strategy during his Master’s studies in political science at Goethe-University Frankfurt. This was followed by several years as a foreign and security policy advisor at the German Bundestag.
At secori, Jan advises banks and financial services providers in second and first line of defense functions. His areas of expertise: Banking and critical infrastructures regulation, information risk management, third party risk management and business continuity management.
Jan holds certifications as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (PECB), Information Security Officer for Credit Institutions (Bank-Verlag), Business Continuity Manager (BCM Academy Hamburg), and Outsourcing Manager (Bank-Verlag). In addition, he completed the General Management Programme of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
